Directions
Do you love green salad, but ready to try something new? Try Mache salad. These delicious leaves are also known as “corn lettuce” or “lamb’s lettuce”. Both Whole Foods and Fairway carry them. But if you can not find them, do not despair – you can use any green leaves you like and this salad will still be delicious.

Mix 2 tbsp olive oil with juice of one lime. Add it to shrimp and marinate for 30 minutes. Grill shrimp until it becomes pink, about 2 minutes per side. Do not overcook the shrimp! |

Cut the ends from the orange. Stand it upright on one of the flat ends. Cut away a section of the peel from the top all the way down to your cutting board. Be sure that you make a clean slice and remove all of the white pith. Cut slices all the way around the orange until all of the peel and pith are gone. Then make slices on either side of the membrane that separates the orange sections. Put slices aside. Squeeze the juice from remaining orange. |
